So, who has already managed to get their paws on the Close Quarters expansion pack, and what do you make of it so far? :)

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters is a themed expansion pack bringing the team play of Battlefield 3 to tight indoor environments. The frantic close quarters infantry combat is amplified by unprecedented high definition destruction, new ways to play, more weapons and added persistence.

I really quite like the new pack I think it brings a nice new\fun side to the game. You can see they are trying to out do the likes of CoD with the new pack and I have seen alot of people say its just like playing CoD but for some reason I see alot of people complaining about it being that way as well. If you look at it from EA's point of view they want to out do CoD and they are going the right way about it. But for all those people out there who do like it then there is a easy answer DONT PLAY IT! plenty of other maps to play. Ian and I have been playing it for sometime and I have come to love the new maps Ian is not to sure but not everything is going to be liked by everyone (taking Guild Wars 2 for example). The only downside is I want more assignments to unlock nearly got them all just need 6 more nade kills and I'm there :D

Some tip for you guys, Luke is just BS at gunmaster. Was 4 levels ahead and I had to get one grenade launcher kill, he eventually caught up to me then just breezed through and won the round instead of me. >.<

EA has released the new Map Pack "Close Quarters" (without Premium). It is available on Origin for 15€.

As Luke mentioned, I'm not necessarily Close Quarter's biggest fan, but I think (particularly if played like last night) it certainly can be fun, and is undeniably refreshing after playing something like Caspian, Kharg etc. Ultimately, if it does bring in the CoD fanboys, and they get exposed to the better points of Battlefield then it's positive in that respect too. Gun master is an awesome feature, but I think they could do more with Conquest Domination
