Is Global Offensive Worth Buying?
Valve have already announced the release date of CS:GO, but is it really worth buying? Sure, it's just under £10, but is the game that much different from Source that it's worth the money, and what's to say they won't tamper with it every few minutes like they did with CS:S?
Discuss. :)

If they give it a decent match making system, it'll definitely be worth the money. Playing a uniform game with a bunch of people your skill calibre, it sounds a lot better than trying to become a 'pub hero'.
I'm not just saying that 'cos I'm pretty bad at the game though.
I do think that if they're going to tamper with the game, the way that they've done so with Source, that they should definitely analyse votes from people in beta testing. Let the majority agree with their intentions.
If i am honest i will get the game just for the soul reason i want it to be better than CS:S because i am getting bored with CS:S now and i hope that the new CS brings something new to the table.
I'm buying it no matter what!
I am getting it, but I think I will only play it for a odd game or two. With the price that low, I think they will introduce something in the future, something like DLC or something like TF2, somewhere inbetween.
As long as they don't add frying pans, glasses, or stupid hats like they did with TF2, I'll be reasonably happy. :P
If they could add a chocolate cock that would be impressive.
Why don't you join their development team? :D
I'm going to get it :) At that price, pretty good value, and I quite like the idea of having accurate hit boxes and graphics of today's era :)
I just hope they don't bollocks it up like they did with Counter-Strike: Source. :P
With the changes in the updates you mean? They should have had a certain consistency I agree, and leave changes for the new game, but to be honest I can't even remember what it was like before now after coming back after 9 months out :P
You could actually hit stuff. :P
